Same place as yesterday, but this time we went higher to see the crater. The view was awesome! Although we were not so lucky with the weather, the light was just to flat. The results between me and Ruben were very similar. Better luck next time… Cheers.

Orange

Yesterday we found another great place to shoot! We photographed trees with an orange tint that contrasted with the beige and green foliage. Awesome palette of colors to work, simply amazing… I have to visit this place again so I can bring back better images. Forte do Pesqueiro

Yesterday the weather was great! I had time to photograph in the mourning and late afternoon. My first stop was Serra do Cume. I tried composing a bit different using more zoom, trying to avoid the typical snapshot that everyone does. Think Black and White

There are times that an image will work better in black and white opposed to colors, usually in situations where the light is not the best and the skies are like this. Those cloudy days that no one likes, are usually the best for this type of photography. Try to think in B&W the next time you go out shooting. Never forget that there is a lot of information in the clouds, you just have to know how to increase the details. Those black dots you see on the clouds are birds not dust spots. Tree

It had been some time since I photographed, so I decided to visit the agricultural area, also known as the “Patchwork Blanket”, and enjoy the last rays of light. The color was phenomenal! I Photographed farmers, cows to landscapes, but it was when I returned home that I made the best image. I was a bit late for the course, so I decided to use the car window as support and not the tripod. Canon 5dmk2 with 70-200 at 180mm, ISO 320, 1/100 sec at f/3.2
